FR202-Hybrid-Redundant

Two FR202-Hybrid systems are designed in a 100% redundant configuration to completely eliminate a single-point of failure of the system and to provide the highest reliability. If the primary system fails, the secondary system automatically turns on and continues to protect the perimeter, providing high reliability and security. Both FR202-Hybrid systems are always synchronized. The FR202-Hybrid- Redundant system can protect up to 40 km (20 km each sensor) with a location accuracy of +/- 6m.

Summary

For high security applications, it is highly desirable to eliminate a single-point of failure involving a controller. This is because if a controller fails then the whole perimeter (often many kilometers) goes unprotected. Even worse, it takes weeks to get a replacement and additional time to get it properly setup and working again. FR202-Hybrid-Redundant system is designed from the bottom up to eliminate a single-point of failure with a FR202-Hybrid system. If the primary system fails, the secondary system automatically turns on and immediately begins protecting the perimeter. The FR202- Hybrid-Redundant model is hot swappable: the failed primary system can be replaced without interfering with the secondary system. When the failed primary system is replaced, the FR202-Hybrid- Redundant system automatically detects the new primary system and turns it on, while the secondary system goes back to an off state. FR202-Hybrid-Redundant offers all other features of FR202-Hybrid.
