FR302-Class

FR302-Class is a long-range classification and ranging system that can be used to protect fence/buried perimeters, wall tops, data cables, or pipelines. Intrusions are classified in many classes and the algorithms use artificial intelligence and advanced pattern recognition technologies to minimize nuisance alarms. It has up to 80 km range (40 km each sensor) with +/- 6m location accuracy, depending on the application.

Classification System

The system classifies intrusions as fence climbs, fence cuts, footsteps, digging, pipeline leaks, Vehicle/train

Long Range and High Location Accuracy

Long Range (up to 80 km per system, up to 40 km each sensor) with pinpoint location accuracy of +/- 6 m. The system has 2 sensors.

Cut Immunity

The system is immune to a cable cut when installed in a loop configuration. Each sensor detects up to the point of a cut.

Advanced Features

GPS mapping, detection of multiple simultaneous events, remote connectivity, and remote troubleshooting.

Small Form Factor

Smallest form factor in the market. One FR301 system takes only 2U of rack space. A complete redundant configuration with two FR301 systems take only 4U of space. In addition to taking up less rack space, shipping and handling is made easy.

Simple Installation and Maintenance Free

Easy to install, calibrate, and tune. Zones are configured using software, adding flexibility to an installation. No electrical power required in the field, and can be installed on fences, wall tops, data cables, along pipelines, or buried in ground. Once installed, maintenance is extremely low.

Immunity

The sensor is based on fiber-optic cable, which is Immune to EMI / RFI and lightning.

In addition, the User Interface is developed to be intuitive with a high degree of automation to make it highly user friendly. Special attention was given to the reliability of the system, including cut immunity and a designed 100% redundancy. FR302-Class can be used on most flexible and rigid fence perimeters, pipelines (both TPI and leak detection), data cables, wall tops, or buried perimeters. Lead-in capabilities allow for sensing to start right where needed, while the system is installed inside a controller room. Installation, calibration, and tuning are simple and intuitive.
